Joint pain

I just started my clear liquid diet prep for my surgery on 3/22. I have noticed that in the past month or so my knees have really been bothering me more than normal. For anyone that has already gone through this, would you say that the surgery definitely helped your joint pain? And if so, how long did it take after surgery to start feeling the difference?? Thanks for the help!!

I have joint pain related to arthritis and cerebral palsy but I was overweight too. Surgery and weightloss gave me mobility back. If you already have knee pain ask if glucosamine supplements are ok to start now, also start doing dead leg lifts to strengthen your quads. Even my more active hubby is having ro do these to strengthen his quads prior to having his knee scoped next month. Our orthopedist joked that I can put him into pt at home since I go in5o therapy for my knees every couple of yrs. Get as active as you can now to help your recovery postop.
