PB stands for productive burp. It's just a polite way of saying throwing up. With a pb though, it's sometimes like a burp but food comes up with it. Sometimes it's more like all out puking. We try to avoid that because it irritates the stomach and most people have to go on liquids for awhile to let the stomach rest. I am on liquids today as a matter of fact, because I can tell my esophagus is sore. If something does not pass through the band, it's stuck in the esophagus and it hurts.

As far as eating, call your doctor and find out if you can have soup. I was able to have soup but I had to put it in the blender and make sure there were no chunks. Soup seemed to fill me up better than protein shakes.
