Burping and gas

So I'm about 4 weeks out from bypass, weight has stalled a little which I understand is normal so I'm not stressing about that. But the burping during and after meals is crazy. My stomach makes all kinds of noises which I know is normal. How long does the burping and gas part last?? I take little bites of soft food, chew chew chew , it's not uncomfortable it's just 15 to 30 minutes of huge belches whenever I eat or drink. What's up?
