Hi Everyone! I had my sleeve surgery and umbilical hernia repair on 3/8. I've had a rough recovery. A lot of gas from anything I drink on my liquid diet(water, protein shakes, broth, sugar free jello, sugar free ice pops). Even water! It hurts and causes pressure sometimes in different areas of my belly, sometimes it hurts like a charlie horse for 5 secs, then goes away. Even the smallest sip, cause a "bubbling" feeling and discomfort in my stomach. My hernia was repaired with a mesh. That is also very tender, and I have very tight & sore abdominal muscles. I can't bend without discomfort. I'm reading all these posts about ppl feeling pretty well after surgery, but i'm having a very slow recovery and feeling discouraged. Anyone else having/had a recovery like me? And umbilical hernia repair when sleeved?
