Have to do a bowel prep for sleeve surgery on Monday....is Magnesium Citrate the same thing as Citrus of Magnesium? Also I see that the magnesium citrate is a carbonated mixture....I thought this stuff came in a jug....any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

That is what I was told when I was looking for it in the pharmacy last year. Told it is carbonated and comes in a jar, white or orange color liquid. Just a heads up, it was not pleasant so I drank it quickly.

Lovely....well, at least it's the right stuff I am looking at. Thanks!

Mine was lemon flavored. It was tolerable. Make sure you have a designated toilet for several hours after you drink it. Some people even take that day off from work.

I drank it rather quickly and two hours later threw it all up. I did the cherry. Evidently it was too strong. I puked many times. I had to start over and did lemon over about three hours. I held it down and it did the job.
