I'm having my surgery the same day as you. I'm so glad to know that someone else is going through this the same day that I am. I'm having second thoughts but I'm going to push through this. Good luck!

Yes. I'm nervous though because I've been doing the pre-op shakes for two weeks and only lost 4 pounds. The dietician accused me of cheating. I really don't eat much and always tell people that yet I can't lose weight. I'm wondering if the surgery will really help me. How about you? Sleeve?

Accused you of cheating? Horrible! Everyone is different and processes differently. I am so sorry you had to hear that. I am down 8 pounds and on day 8 of a 10 day pre-surgical insane diet.

Yes....sleeve. I am having the triple play as they call it. Haital hernia repair, gall bladder and stones removed and the sleeve....

Just remember, as a great anesthesia told me right before i went down..."Don't worry....I have more drugs than you have nerves." ....priceless!

I'm also getting sleeved tomorrow. I'm starting to feel nervous but I'm ready for this change.

Getting tomorrow too. I feel nervous and just want to get to it. Worried more about pain and being able to get all my fluids and stuff like that than the surgery itself.

Same here, Ladies.....nervous but have to believe based on everything we have seen and heard from others this is going to be an exciting new beginning for us! (Don't get me wrong...I am scared out of my mind too!) Please keep in touch, post op :-)

Hi Ladies,

I'm getting sleeved tomorrow morning too! Nerves are starting to come out. I'm just worried about drinking Water day 2. I'm gonna walk walk walk to get rid of the gas. For me, it's all the what ifs afterwards that's making me nervous as well. One day at a time.....that's what I keep saying to myself....

I didn't sleep a wink....ugh. horrible. Well there is always the ride to the hospital....maybe I will dose off then. Good luck today!
