I am 10 days post op and I am finding myself to feel worn out at times. Even if it's after taking a shower. I am wondering if anyone can tell me how soon after surgery can you start taking chewable Vitamins?

According to the material my surgery team gave "once you are home from the hospital start with one chewable mutlivitamin per day". Centrum makes a pretty complete chewable with Iron. I am actually using the PatchMD Vitamin Patches bought at the online store on this site, but I don't think that is necessary.

The first 2 weeks I was exhausted all the time. I started taking my vitamins once I was home. Make sure you're drinking your 64oz and getting in your protein. This also will help with the energy.

My packet says to start Vitamins as soon as I get home my program recommends the chewable vitamins for at least a month. My place has their own line of vitamins and protein- called Journey- and they just reformed their vitamins to be capsules that can be opened. I wasn't sure how I would tolerate chewing the fruity vitamins, so now I'll be able to just open the capsule and sprinkle the Vitamin into whatever

My surgeon said one month after so I would call my surgeon's office and ask.
