I had a Roux en y in September 2015 - so I am 5 months out. I had/have a rare condition that I believe affects my weight loss (retracting Mesenteric Stenosis). During my weight loss surgery my intestines were removed for a 3 hr. Procedure to remove scar tissue - - then the bypass was performed.
However, I do not get dumping syndrome, I rarely feel full and I seem to be hungry all the time unless I am supplimenting with Gardenia Cambodia & Saffron.
I have lost a total of 70 lbs. I work out 3 to 5 days a week. My food intake is 800 calories daily or less. I'm frustrated at 283 lbs.
