Started this journey in September 2015 and after jumping through all the hoops, I just got my surgery date yesterday - March 28, 2016. After waiting so long now I have to rush and get all pre-op testing done, get pre-op certification from PCP, go to pre-op class AND follow a 2 week pre-op protein diet to shrink my liver. Whew ... I'm tired already! After the surgery, then the REAL work begins ...
