I'm so excited so I had vacation for Vegas planned for the beginning of April should I cancel my vacation as it is Vegas or should I go forward as planned ??? I know I will still be on liquids or soft foods so should I go?? Need advice! Thanks all!

If you think you will be able to stick to your post-op food plans, then there is no reason not to go. If you are still on liquids and purees at that point, you may be a little tired. I had issues with fatigue until I was back on solid foods and could get more calories in.

I think that you should be able to go with no problems providing you don't have any complications from the surgery. Your surgery is in 2 weeks, which would be around 3/8.

Your vacation is in early April which should be about 4 weeks post op.

Speaking from my experience I was fine by 4 weeks post op & went on my previously planned vacation at 6 weeks post op. Even though you will probably be on soft foods by then, bring some of your protein drinks or powder mix with you to be sure you are getting your protein requirements in each day.

Go on vacation and have a great time & go see the show Rock of Ages while your in Vegas. [emoji4]
