So I started my pre op diet on Wednesday 2/3/16. I am 5 days in and doing great. The first 3 days were the absolute hardest. I would find myself looking in the pantry and the fridge to see what I can sneak. I told myself "suck it up fatty" and went to my room. The first couple days you lack so much energy and just want to sleep. I'm so glad I'm over that hump. I'm getting my surgery in exactly 10 days and I'm so excited. I can't wait to see the results and share them with you all! Who else is a 2/17 sleeve girl? Let's keep in touch, I need a sleeved sister ♥️

My sleeve is I the 16th. I'm day5 pre-op. Weekends at home are hard---much easier when I'm at work. Today I made dinner for my family---I made ham because I don't like it....but today I could have slammed that ham!!! It was hard and I had to totally walk away!!! I am excited for my sleeve too but will be glad when the preop diet is over! ????

I am the 12th. Been on a 2 week pre op liquid diet. It has sucked! Can't wait for this to be over. The head hunger is always here too. But I'm tired of being hungry and food is every where it seems like. It's gonna be okay though. The day will be here. It's best to just try to keep busy. Watch your favorite movies or shows. I'm off work the rest of the week so it's gonna be hard sitting at home.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
