Canadian starting process

Today was my initial consult, nurse, dietician, counsellor. I went very well. I am waiting now for the call to see the surgeon then a four hour info session. .... Then a surgery date. Does this sound similar to anyone else?

Mine was in a different order. Orientation session, then my first set of appointments with the nurse, dietitian, and social worker. My next set of appointments were set for 8 weeks after that (hasn't happened yet).

It seems like a lot but it all goes by really fast I will know more Monday as to timeline to actual surgical date
