Aetna insurance

Does anyone who has Aetna Insurance know where on website I can check the status of my approval? Does it show up as a pending claim where I usually see claims from doctor visits? I thought I read on one post that we can see online but maybe we can't.

I have BCBS but I don't think it's technically a claim but rather an approval so it most likely won't show up. I feel your pain with the wait! I am with you! Hang in there!

  • I'm approved. Yay. Now just waiting on nurse to call me to go over date surgeon agrees to so I can start the dreaded 2 week liquid pre op diet .... I've come this far though so I will get through it

It probably is too late to help you, but Incase anyone else is looking, there isn't a way to check online for approval. I tried. What you have to do is call them and ask and have it checked. If you have an advocate(some employers provide this liaison to help expedite the process for their employees) then they can get things going faster.

How long did your approval take?
