I don't think you can start too early. I started a couple months in advance and wish I would have interviewed a few more surgeons. I feel now, like I rushed in to it because I was soo stinkin excite

Most docs want you at a stable weight (goal preferably) before plastics so that's the number to keep in mind. Some insurance companies even require that. I had mine exactly six months and two weeks

I did my first consults about a.month after hitting goal, actual surgery 8 months after that So I guess my plastics were nearly a year after hitting goal

Hello everyone,
Just curious how far before your goal did you start to consult with a plastic surgeon? I still have some time, but just wanted to plan ahead a bit. My insurance may cover a couple of the procedures such as the apron removal, but I need to know how much money I need to have to do what needs to be done. So I'd like to plan early so that I can start putting the resources together for when the day comes. I'd appreciate any help and feedback. I'm going to probably need an upper and lower body lift, arms, and thighs. Also are surgeons willing to maximize the amount of procedures they do at one time? Thank you all!
