Has anyone had this procedure done specially to improve asthma and or to aid in reducing the use of steroids such as prednisone? If so did you see any improvement?

@storibrown- before surgery I had really bad asthma. Every winter I would have a flair that would cause me to go on prednisones. Fact many of them brought trips to the ER to. Now that surgeries over my lung capacity went from 50% to 80%. With steroids I get to almost hundred percent capacity. So I still have to take my meds but it's so much better than it was.

Thank you for responding. My doctor as convinced me that in a years time I will using very minimal steroids. I'm on 20-60 mg every single day!
