    Yes!! I just had my first fill today and I asked the Dr about the excessive burping and also pressure in my chest. He said it was from drinking carbonated drinks or swallowing too much food to fast.

I would think excessive burping would come from swallowing too much air? Have you changed anything in your eating habits like using straws, drinking carbonated beverages or eating too fast?

I once had all fluids removed from my band because I was scared of throwing up due to nausea when I was sick. after I had the fluids replaced I've been burping like crazy ever since but it never happened until when I had fluids put back
