Incision pains

I had my surgery on 12/28/15. The incision that the doctor took my stomach out of is still hurting whenever I stand up. Once I am up I am ok but the process of getting up is painful and it burns. Anyone else have this problem?

I had my surgery on November 20th and the pain that you're describing lasted a little over 2 weeks, then it pretty much went away. Hang in there, it should be over soon :)

9 months out and sometimes if I stretch the wrong way, it will give me a dull ache around the incisions -- my surgeon said it truly takes a year for them to fully heal, be patient!

I'm in the 8th month post surgery and I still get some pains once in a while on the incisions. Or itching around the biggest one. It's not too bad now though.
