At two weeks I was still in my "full liquids" phase, so I was having protein shakes, strained cream soups, and yogurt. My favorite strained cream soups were cream of shrimp and Progresso's Chicken Cheese Enchilada.

My doctor also said I can have cream of wheat, jello, and any puréed soup including broccoli and cheese soup. Does that sound right to you?

I was sleeved 12/15 and I'm still at full liquids too...last night I cheated and made a really runny soft scrambled egg mixed with milk to keep it sorta liquid. It wasn't bad. Today it was gross! So I'm living on premier protein shakes, cream of wheat, soup and Popsicles as well! I have my follow up Thursday and I'm praying he'll advance my diet a week early. I'm having more pain and discomfort on my left side this week than I did last week. They think I may have pulled a muscle doing too much lifting. ???? so they will get me a compression band at the appointment and until then my spanx will come in handy!

Every plan is different, so you should definitely follow your surgeon's recommendations. If any of the foods on your list are too challenging for you, just go back to the previous stage for a couple more days.

Thanks I'm craving avocado for some weird reason. But other then that nothing really sounds good and my husband for the most part has to tell me to eat. I have my post op tomorrow.. I haven't had problems keeping anything down at all. Just making myself eat and not just drink Water.

Sorry to hear about your pulled muscle. Prayers for you!
