Hi Lindz!

Congrats on your surgery this Monday! I myself am being banded this Saturday so I can't offer up too much after-care recommendations ... I will tell you though that I've tried different protein powders and the best tasting one for me was Unjury. Their chocolate powder mixed with a cup of nonfat milk tasted just like Nesquik ... no kidding! Their prices are reasonable and shipping is cheap! The site is Unjury.com.

Best of luck to you in your upcoming journey!

Definitely protein shakes, creamy soups, yogurt, anything that can fit through a straw at the beginning. Once you move onto mushies you can have baked potatoes, cottage cheese, tuna salad and things like that. Creamy soups really kept me satisfied when I was on the liquid stage. Good luck.
