5 days post gastric bypass

In a discouraged mood. The thought of more protein shakes nauseates me. Was hoping to be feeling better 5 days post-op. Restless. Normal?

Completely normal. I think most, if not all, of us had the "what the hell did I do to myself?!" period. By this time next week, you'll be stunned at how much better you feel and how much you've healed. There are also a lot of crazy things happening with your hormones right now, so that doesn't help. But it will pass. Hang in there. :)

I know how you feel as well. If possible try different flavors of the drinks re I'm mended by your Doctor. Most importantly, just hang in there. It's a slow process but it will all be worth it.
