5 days post op sleeve

I was doing great till about 1230 am on 12/25 when I woke up with severe pain in abdomen, shoulders , back, and had diarrhea along w/ a fever of 102.9. I called my mom and sis and they came and picked me up to take me to the ER. After a bag of fluids , cat scan of my abdomen, chest xray and lots of labs I was diagnosed with Ulcertive Colitis, Pnumonia in both lungs, and gastrointestinal virus! I got home about 6 am just in time to watch my boys open up Christmas. Now I just feel like I've been beat with a baseball bat. Good note was that my sleeve looked good to them.

Wow. Feel better.

I hope you're feeling better!

I had cdiff and when they did a biopsy I was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis. Years later I had another biopsy done and no UC just IBS. Doc says due to the infection the inflammation in my colon caused a false positive for UC. Have you had systems for that prior to this? I'm sorry about all of this. I hope you feel better soon!
