2 day post op

Update....on gastric sleeve done 12/22/2015...stayed over night, and only felt nausea when i awaken from surgery, until they medicated me, plus had to get up and walk every 4 hours, Not too much problem getting in and out of bed, just due to the I.V. being in the way, no problems with walking as it did help gas pains. I felt like i could drink more but when i sipped two medicine cups i felt pain so stopped for 15 min. Everything was nasty to me but water..when my husband brought me home yesterday I needed a few items from grocery store that I knew he would prob forget so I went inside with him to get the exercise...lol, which was not bad at all. last night was the first night home and could not get protein shake down maybe 3oz..so will work on that today...still a few unwanted gas pains but able to move around...thinking of baking a cake for the Fam for Christmas...btw got 7 bandages and stomach looks swollen to me but I think that's normal but no leaking...bandages come off today when I shower and sterile strips fall off on their own.

@@jalleyne1972 - WELCOME to the family!

Sounds like you are doing very well post-op. great Job!

Keep moving and stay hydrated - the rest will follow. If you eat get as much out off it as you can (Protein first, always).

Happy Belated Re-Birthday

Thx

Hey there. I had surgery on December 23rd with Dr. Hart. I didn't stay overnight for some reason. We should keep in touch.
