I had to pay for the deductible which varies, mine was $1,000. And i also had to pay 30% of the remaining bill.

i have blue shield ppo of california and so far I have had nothing to pay. I had already met my deductible and out of pocket copays for the year, so the usual 10%, we are hoping we will not get billed for. The hospital I used and the doc charged $104,000.00 dollars and my insurance paid $30,000.00, so we shall see, good luck.
