Canadian sleevers self pay Mexico

Hey everyone! Just wondering if there are any Canadian sleevers that had WLS in Mexico. Curious about how you paid, and if there are any options for those of us that can't pay the lump sum outta pocket.

Thanks!

I did have it in Puerto Vallarta on self pay. I think there is Medicard you can get for the surgery in Mexico or anywhere. I paid about $7500 CDN after exchange to USD, as the hospital (Amerimed) is American owned.

I had mine in Tijuana, Mexico just over a year ago and paid $4200 us with Dr Fernando Garcia. I had a great experience.

Sorry sent before I meant to. Flight was cheap to San Diego. $340 RT from Toronto. I stayed in San Diego as my flight came in after 5 pm. They picked me up the next am. Testing in am surgery in afternoon. Total stay 5 days. Got in within 3 weeks of making initial call. I went from 240 pre surgery to now I hang around 157. Best decision I ever made.
