Preop diet... take 2

So I am tentatively scheduled for surgery on Dec. 22, pending cardiac clearance. I was originally scheduled for October but postponed due to blood tests.

The first time I didn't cheat at all on the 2 week diet. This time I seem to be hungrier and more prone to nibbles. I've been not so bad and kept my nibbling to fruit and yogurt. Why is it so hard the second time around?

That wanted me to w 13lbs the first time and I have lost 25 as of yesterday.

Keep your fingers crossed I get the clearance after my echo and stress test tomorrow.

Some of that may be stress eating. Try to stay busy and just eat or drink on schedule. Good luck and fingers crossed!

Good Luck! I think that it is always harder to cut back the second time. It's like you just don't have the same determinations.
