3-for-1 VSG, Nissen, Gall Bladder Removal

I am scheduled for surgery 12/15/15, VSG plus Nissen to take care of hernia, then gall bladder removal as I have gall stones and have had "gall bladder attacks". Has anyone here had this combination or 2 of the 3 at the same time? How was it for you?

Thanks for your input! :D

  • I haven't had my surgery yet. However I also have to have my gallbadder taken out. I have a hernia too but the Dr wants to leave that in as he feel it may come back as I lose weight with the sleeve.

I haven't had my surgery yet. However I also have to have my gallbadder taken out. I have a hernia too but the Dr wants to leave that in as he feel it may come back as I lose weight with the sleeve. I don't have a surgery date but he did tell me I would have an additional incision for the removal of the gallbladder when I do have my surgery. Hopefully others who have had the surgeries already will reply soon. Good luck on Monday. Let me know what happens.

Rethink that Nissen!! Seriously.

Did your surgeon talk to you about the Torax Linx? It was FDA approved a few years ago and is a game changer.

I wasn't willing to deal with the side effects of a Nissen wrap, and this was a perfect solution. Plus it doesn't require any rerouting and won't impede a sleeve.
