My liquid pre op diet is over Christmas....yikes!!

Are you male or female?

I am a girl looking to meet other woman either who have had surgery or who are having surgery!

There are many support groups throughout the Denver area. Up here in the Broomfield area we have a support group meeting once a month. Here's the text of an email I get once a month. Haven't got December's yet. It's a good place to meet others like us.

The Annual Pants Across Sky Ridge event is coming soon! The event takes place Thursday January 28th. We would love to see an overwhelming number of people participate this year! You will need to turn in the following items preferably before Christmas and for sure by the end of the year:
A pair of pants or shorts that fit you before your surgery
A pair of pants or shorts that fit you now/by the end of the year
A digital pre op picture of you and a post op picture of you emailed to Lauren Buckley at Lauren.Buckley@HealthONEcares.com and last your "story" about why you decided to have weight loss surgery emailed to Lauren at Sky Ridge. You can drop your pants off at the Front Desk with Lauren Buckleys name on the bag. Please put your name or initials inside your pants/shorts.

If you want to be selected for a make over for females or a new suit for male make overs include a letter of why you feel you deserve or would be a good candidate for a make over ( hair and make up) or a new suit as well to enter into the contest. You will get more information soon about the event that evening!

Support group topic is the same for all three groups this month. We will discuss and share ideas on how to get through Thanksgiving and the holidays coming up.

Monday November 9 th 6:00 pm -2nd floor of the Russell Pavilion. Please check daily schedule for room we will be in on the easel display outside the Sterne Elder room

Wednesday November 11 th -at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette - 4:30 in conference room ; please check schedule on door of each conference room

November 18th at Sky Ridge Medical Center 6:30 ground floor in the Sky Ridge auditorium.

@@MsCyrus hi! I am from Highlands Ranch and actually had my surgery at Skyridge. Great surgeon, great NUT, great all around experience. I had RNY on Nov. 9th of this year!

how cool! Are you using National Bariatrics/Dr Chae? He is awesome! Very nice guy and very caring and his nutritionist Kelly is awesome! We probably talk too much at our appts, but I love her to death! Ok, the surgery itself wasn't bad at all. I did a 90 day program with Kelly to prepare for surgery and she really prepared me for everything post op. The surgery went fast. He was done in 90 mins or less. It helped that I already had my gallbladder out years ago. Everything was straight forward. I had trouble breathing from the pain meds so my oxygen was low, but once I was off them, I was fine! I went home not needing pain meds. I had 4 tiny holes and a drain hole. I got my drain out 10 days later. So, I'm 1 month out now, I've lost 1 pant size so far, but I was starting from a really high weight, so it's going to take awhile, but it was totally the best decision I've ever made!

I'm in Parker and Parker Adventist is a Center for Excellence with a monthly support group. I love Dr Long's office, they are awesome and very supportive.

Any day time groups around there? I am with Dr. Brown's office and Dr. Irani. She is amazing and their staff is fantastic!

I love it there! I was there for my classes and my surgery is there...pending insurance approval. It is getting so close!!!

No I get emails from her husband regarding times and locations for the meetings. I just copied and pasted the info.
