Not losing

Hi, My name is Erin, I was sleeved on 11/19. I'm a little nervous about how successful my surgery was because I'm not losing any weight! I lost 10 lbs the first week, but once I started full liquids, I stopped losing. It's been a week and I've actually gained 2 lbs back! Has anyone else experienced this?

Perfectly normal. Weight loss is rarely linear. There will be stops, stalls and gains as your body adjusts and readjusts to all the new changes. So soon after surgery you could even still be carrying IV fluids. Do not worry. As long as you stick to the program and meet your protein & fluid goals the weight loss will happen.

Just focus on getting in all your Protein and fluids, take your Vitamins and supplements as instructed, and exercise.

If the numbers on the scale are driving you crazy, then consider weighing less frequently.

Embrace the Stall!
