I started the pureed diet yesterday and had some scrambled eggs this morning. It felt good to actually chew some food, instead of slurping it. I only did a little because I didn't want to overdo it and did not have any issues with it. I'm excited about going into this phase and start eating more textured food. I have to admit while I have been on the liquid diet, I have not felt full and didn't feel that way this morning when I tried the eggs. I guess I will feel that way when I start eating more foods...

Congrats! It is nice to be in that phase finally! You will start feeling more full once you have more dense Proteins so in the meantime just measure your food and stick with 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup and then stop. Your stomach is still healing so you may not get the "full" (or better said as my therapist tells me - "satisfied" feeling). My favorite go to's during pureed was fat free refried Beans with cheese melted on top, Ricotta Bake (theworldaccordingtoeggface.com) and pimiento cheese (boosted with some unflavored Protein powder). Good luck! Keep working on it! Real food is around the corner!
