Question: Why do I get emoticon when I type "(b)?"

Whenever I type in a lower case "b" within parentheses, the final post shows the opening paren followed by a yellow face. The closing paren completely disappears.

How to retain what I type, please? Is there a secret code?

Probably your computer reading is as ACSII code if you add a space between the "(" and the letter it should prevent that from happening.

Er, a little tweak:

( b )

The first time, I used a space after the first ( only.

Second time, before the second ) only.

Third time, after the first and before the second.

Guess I'll go with #2 for now. Or #3 for its symmetry..

KindaFamiliar = Fat all over!!! (B)(b)(B)

Since you are a man from Austrailia, you could say:

KindaFamiliar=Fat down under

That will definitely get some of the women's attention.

;)

Is that your best shot, Cupcake?

I started with the simple "fat ass," then edited to add "bully," then again to add "from down under (lower case d & u), the last part to be interpreted as one might. Then I stripped the edits, favoring the two-word 'fat ass' as the punchiest.

Oh yeah...

That's JUST what I need...

That's right, @@4MRB4PHOTO, he's juggling about all he can handle now and then some, if you believe him.

Oops, disregard my comment on this above. In my immediate paranoia cover-up, I thought you were commenting on me.

A propos nothing, folks, I had a really nice day. Some nice surprises, the kind that just give a person's spirit a lift. Hope y'all had the same.
