I'm going to have mine done in the beginning of January. I didn't have to do the upper GI because I had one done in May because I had trouble swallowing. My doc for that is also my bariatric surgeon! Definitely came in handy!

My labs are done, psych eval done - need letter from reg shrink saying he also thinks I'm a good candidate-, purchased 3 month supply of all vitamins/supplements and Protein powders. My mammo is scheduled next week.

I have to get records from 2008 saying I had a total hysterectomy so I don't have to have a pap smear...... I've been trying but not been successful yet! I really don't want to have to go to a GYN and ask for a pap smear only to be told that I don't have a cervix so I don't need one.

I have gone to 1 support group and am definitely going to more. I met with the NUT, but it was a super short visit.

My labs came back and I have to increase my Vitamin D level. I'm starting treatment this week.

The hardest thing I have done so far was quitting smoking. My quit date was 9/23 and I have to be smoke free for 3 months.

Sorry this is long, just having a lonely day and needed to "talk" about this

Congrats to you! Anytime you want to chat just message me. I didn't know you have to have a pap?? I had my twins almost 3yrs ago and me and my husband decided it was best for me to get my remaining tube tied. I'm kind of torn about my surgery. I can have mine come March but we go on our annual family vacation in July. My family says wait and have it done the week we get back. My hubby says why wait get it done. My surgery won't be done laparoscopic so healing time 6 weeks for me. Anywho I'm not sure if I want to wait until after vacation at this point. Congrats on you for being smoke free.

I have a yearly family vacation I take in June and I am hoping to have my surgery in March so its totally do able
