I am having mine on Nov 16th. It is so surreal to finally have a date. I start pre op diet on the 2nd. So excited and nervous at the same time.

Started the liquid diet today, it still all seems surreal in 2 weeks life changes forever. So excited for us all!! Have a great day everyone : )

My surgery is Nov. 12 and I have started my 3 day clear liquid diet. Tons of emotions about if this is the right thing to do. I have self doubt in my head but I am also doing everything to get ready for the big day. Just weird feelings!!!

Me too!!! Stressing about pain and how I'm going to feel when I wake up. Eek!

My surgery is tomorrow, so I'm on clear liquids just for today. It's okay to have doubts, I think we all have them. Just keep moving forward & think forward thoughts. Don't dwell on the past. You are ready for a new, healthy YOU. Hang in there friend!

surgery went great my surgeon found I had a hernia but didn't repair it. He said if it bothers me 6 months to a year then I can get it repair. But very little pain just had nausea yesterday and last night. I'm already at home.

Surgery on the 16th! Nervous and excited. I'm on Day 3 of the protein shake diet and am definitely experiencing "food mourning". Trying to figure out how much of that is mental, and reminding myself that this is a tremendous opportunity and it's worth a week of suffering!

Week 2 of pre op diet and I'm scared my surgeon may delay my surgery if I do not lose 15 lbs before the 24th .....feeling a bit overwhelmed and I'm scared to eat ......I want this so bad and I don't know how I could try harder

Monibaby18 I'm in the same boat as you. My surgeon never said how much he wanted me to lose. I lost 7 lbs I'm week one of my liquid diet but now it's at a stand still. My surgery is on the 16th and my insurance expires on the 29th. I've wanted this for years and this is my last chance for a long time. My worst fear is being opened up and them not doing it
