Prednisone

Hi all! Surgery date is November 6. Pre op appointment is Oct 27. Of course, I have a sinus infection and have been on antibiotics plus allergy meds. Question: cough still sounding pretty bad. Have been on prednisone in the past. Wondering if I should just let my body fight it off or try to start some prednisone

I would talk you you surgeon's office first. Three are a couple problems with prednisone. First of all it can raise your blood glucose levels, and secondly I it can delay healing, so if you start taking it they may delay surgery.
