I know they say to wait 18 months after surgery to have a baby but what if you get pregnant on accident. It has had to happen. Has anyone heard of it or experienced it? I would like to know about it. I'm not pregnant just curious

My doc only recommended waiting a year. I don't know anyone that's been pregnant after the sleeve, but there is a forum on this site about the topic.

There are a few people that have posted that they have on here. Part of my surgeon's contract is to use 2 forms of birth control. Even if you have a tubal for 2 years.

Very good friend just had a baby about 2 years post VSG. Very successful pregnancy and delivery. No issues and has lost almost all pregnancy weight 3 mos. after delivering.
