Pre op surgery diet is hard!

On day 3 of my pre op surgery diet and getting meals planned ahead of time and ideas for foods I will be able to eat. The problem is, it is hard to think about the pureed foods I will be able to eat because right now anything sounds better than a Protein shake. What I wouldn't do for some low fat refried Beans or some low fat cottage cheese.

  • It may not be easy.......but it's effective. I wound up dropping 17 lbs in 13 days. I Imagine how well things would go were I able to muster the discipline to stick with it for several months.

Thanks! I'm trying yet another kind of protein shake today.

My Drs office had 7 of us finish at same time (which is unusual) and started all of us on the pre op liquid diet together. Since so many of us I'm the last one and ends up am on it for 27 days. The first 5 days were difficult, but it's gotten so easy now. My surgery is on the 28th! Only 10 more days now! Then two weeks after more on it. Piece of cake! Snap snap! Lol
