HAIR LOSS from GNC

Hi GUYS

I have not had my gastric bypass yet but saw an item on their shelf at GNC that MAY help us as we lose hair. It is called VIVISCAL in a pink and white box. Under the title it has Hair Growth Program.

Next it reads that is NOURISHES thinning hair and promotes existing hair growth* from within.

60 tablets

Extra Strength

Dietary Supplement

PRICE is 49.99 but it is less right now~

Just sharing to see if anyone has heard of this or is someone has tried it....

Did you notice the list of ingredients?

You have to be careful with different supplements that claim to help with thinning hair. The reality is if you are one that will shed from massive weight loss there really is nothing that will stop it from happening.

Biotin is the best thing to help with regrow th but it also does not stop it from happening. I have personally talked to several experts on the lass of hair through bariatric weight loss. There really is no way to stop it so you could be wasting your money.

I happen to have been one of the unlucky folks. My hair started falling out by month 3 and it just recently stopped. I am 12 months post op and lost 3/4 of my thickness.

I have been meeting my Protein and Water goals since near the beginning. I have been taking biotin as well.

The good news is, it did finally stop as my weight loss slowed down and it has been coming back in all along. I have tons of little hairs poking up everywhere.
