Question from a pre-op

Getting sleeved Nov. 9th. Just curious what kind of things that you purchased to help you for after your surgery and what things that are not really necessary? I have heard of things like 2oz & 4oz bowls with lids, someone mentioned a cup warmer (they said because it takes so long to eat that it will keep your Soup and stuff warm), etc... Any suggestions of must-haves???

As a tall guy, I wished I'd installed tall toilets in my house. Sure would have helped make it easier with this tender hernia.

I just want to say that 2 weeks before my surgery, we replaced our leaking toilet with a new "accessible" tall toilet that I had picked out. I was not thinking of it as something for the surgery -- I just wanted a nice one one. I tell you, it was the BEST THING EVER after surgery. :-) Every time I had to use it, I was like, "OMG I am so thankful we replaced the old toilet before my surgery! OMG! So gooood!" *grin*

I love my Hydroflask! Keeps that water cold with ice not melting for 24 hours. And I use my small plates always. Couldn't work with the tiny utensils, but the plates are great.
