I'm pretty sure the hospital I'm having the procedure at does it with the DaVinci Robot. Anyone else here have their sleeve done with the robot? Experiences?

I had robotic laser surgery. I experienced some pain the first 24 hours after surgery, the next day only minor soreness. I only took pain meds for the first 24 hours, then just some tylenol. I was able to walk 4 hours after surgery and every other hour afterwards. I only have 4 very small incisions instead of 5. After the first couple of days, I felt great...still do. I would say, if it is available DO IT! It is way less invasive and recovery is much easier.

I did. I woke up feeling like I had done 100 situps and my abs were sore, but that's it. I didn't need any pain meds at all. Walked in recovery and had no gas or nausea.
