Questions about going #2

Surgery was last Tuesday. I had the RNY bypass done. I went on Friday and now I still haven't gone. I even had a piece of something I thought would make me dump. I didn't dump. Then I had 3 servings of benefiber today... And nothing. I see my surgeon on Monday for Post Op check up. What do you think?

It may take some time for your digestive tract to wake back up and begin working properly again. There's also the fact that you are consuming very, very little. Make sure your water intake is as high as you can make it, that may help. Take care of yourself, hope your healing process is speedy and boring. :)

You might also take some Probiotics. If you were given antibiotics during or after surgery, it may have destroyed the good bacteria in your digestive tract. These need to be restored. That is what probiotics do.
