Getting pregnant post surgery

I know what's recommended but how soon after surgery did you get pregnant? And did you have complications if it was too soon? Did you have infertility problems before surgery? Just curious. Babies on the brain. Thanks in advance

    I'm not planning on having more children but this subject was brought up in one of the classes my surgeon requires.

    He felt very strongly that there should be at least a YEAR between surgery and pregnancy
