Warning sleevers! Bad stomach virus!

I just wanted to take a quick second to warn my fellow peers with tiny tummies that there is a very bad stomach virus going around. I live in Dallas and had the pleasure of catching it, I was out for about 4 days and couldn't eat. I felt bloated, nauseous, and oddly full when I tried to force feed myself. You also get the regular things that come with stomach viruses, but I don't need to spell that out for you guys. I was worried I'd end up in the hospital seeing we rely on our protein and vitamins so much, but somehow I have pulled through. So please wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer like crazy. My coworkers who have regular tummies were out about 2-3 days, so please take care of yourselves.

If any of you had your surgeries here in the states and can ask your doctors office that would be good to know going forward. I just happened to have been unlucky and caught a cold and that nasty stomach virus, but I had my surgery in Mexico. And really once he's done with you, you're on your own. I used to always catch a tummy bug if anyone around me had one, I really hope that has changed now. I'm still recouping.

Yup, it bit me, too, about 4 weeks ago. Happily, it was only a two-day experience. But it did scare me. On Day One I thought about going to the hospital (worried I might have some horrible deer tick disease), but on Day Two I realized it was only an intestinal bug.

BTW, I ate only 400 calories the day I came down with it -- and that's the least I've eaten since my first week post-op.
