Scars

At what point did you stop treating your scars? I have gone through an entire bottle of Frankenscence oil and most recently bought some Vitamin E oil and am nearly four months post op.

I really don't care if they go completely away because no one (except my husband) will ever see my stomach, but I was just wondering at what point (how many months) are you wasting your time and money?

I am 28 months post-op RNY surgery. I never treated my scars. I just now went to the mirror and looked for them and there are no signs of any scars. My guess is that they disappeared around 1 year post-op.

I never treated mine. Obviously they are still a little red because I am only one year out but based on other scars I have had they will get so faint you will barely see them over time.

Scars?! I don't have any! I never treated them. After bruising went away, you can see an ever so light pink line. I have a hard time even finding them.
