My surgery is schedule Oct 9th I was given a 7-10 day diet to follow to shrink my liver before surgery. The Dr. wanted me to buy 320 worth of his product to drink and eat before surgery. I cannot afford that plus the product don't taste good. What else can I use?

Hello I am scheduled to get banded on oct 1st. Starting my liquid diet tomorow .

My surgeon and nut recommended that I use Pure Protein. You can buy a large container from Sams for about $20. I used it and was very successful with it. Good luck!

Is it clear? My doc recom clear diet .

No. It is a regular protein shake. I didn't have to do a clear diet for my pre op diet.

But u did have to do 14 days of the liquid diet.

Did u do the lapband ??? I wonder what the diffrence is

I have the lapband. I had to do a 2 week pre-op diet.
