Not loosing weight! Help!

Hello..i am 20 days post op and i feel so worried and stressed. I have only lost about 15lbs since the pre op diet wich was 3 days along with post op diet. I dont know why i am stuck on the weight..should'nt the first weeks be when you loose the most? Ive failed at loosing weight all my life that i am scared to death ill fail at this too..i need a friend who's had surgery around august 20..can anyone relate? Am i going nuts?

Everything i read says that the first month is when you loose a whole bunch..and my scale just wont go down..this is so deppressing :(

Really, thanks Babbs!

I am at three weeks and stuck at 18lb weight loss . Moving and sticking to the diet but not kissing a pound more. I am still keeping hope alive!

I had VSG on 7/31 to date, a total loss of 30lbs. In fact, two days ago I weighed in at 177. Today, I got on the scale and was 179.7. I walk 5 miles each day, lift weights twice a week (Full body workout, I'm a personal trainer). I get close to 100grams of Protein daily (I still drink one Protein shake a day, otherwise I can't reach the 100g), I get about 600 calories in a day. I shoot for the 100 grams of protein because I am hoping not to lose hair (though I hear that's inevitable at around the 3 months mark). I don't know why I gained, I eat the same things every day, but I did. I am losing slowly, and not sure whether it's because I started out smaller than the average sleever or not. I try not to get discouraged, it's hard, but I keep telling myself, that slower loss is always better than fast:

1- Skin wont sag (though I'm doing whatever I can not to let it, by working out, and the slower loss)

2- And that eventually I'll get to my goal... (119lbs)...

The first week after my surgery on April 30th I gained 6 pounds. The next week I lost 13. Hang in there.
