Anyone having surgery in Oct ?

I'm having my surgery Oct 5th my per op class is Sept 23rd. I'm getting super excited only thing that worries me is missing classes I just enrolled into two classes and they start the 14th I'll be missing 3 classes plus a whole week of surgery. Hoping my teachers will be okay and let me work it out so I don't fall behind or get knocked for missing class.

Hey y'all. I'm home and doing okay. Sore and gassy, but alive and well. I'm happy.

I'm off my diabetic meds and my blood pressure meds. If everything stays as it is now, I'll stay off of them. Going back for my follow up on Nov. 9th.

yes

I got morphine button in hospital and liquid Vicodin for home. Yell and scream until you get that too. It's standard of care.

I also got Tylenol and codeine for home, just took a dose :)

I got norco. Only used 2

Yep. It's hard to take. Plus my liquid Vicodin tastes like cough syrup. I wonder if they prepare it like that so that we don't overuse it...????

I see so many of you got pain meds ???? that was not an option for me other than Tylenol. I finally begged for one dose but then I noticed it didn't work for me ... Oh well lol I'm

Home and feel great other than a twinge here & there.

I'm more concerned I don't feel that 'fullness' after drinking & eating. Started mushy foods last night and I don't feel any different after eating that before. That scares the crap out of me!!!

@@dancingqueene hi...I had my rny on the 19th and experienced the same thing for a little over a week. Thursday morning all of a sudden I could only eat about 2 ounces at a meal and has been that way since. It probably has something to do with the healing process. Not sure when your procedure was done, but I was actually wondering if they had actually done anything there for awhile. I'm sure it will kick in for you soon.

I feel disgustingly tight after more than two sips. I'm starting to hate it. True aversion therapy. Wish I didn't have to get liquids or protein at all.

Happy Halloween everybody!!!

So far I have not gotten sick. I'll be trying watery applesauce on my 3rd day with protein mix in it. Says I can have that on my 3rd day. Hope it stays down too

????????????????????????????
