Liver shrinking

Question. ...the day of your surgery did they check your liver to see if it was shrunk enough before opening you up? And if they did..how was the test preformed? ??

    They can't tell until they are in there. They do take blood before surgery, so maybe they can tell from your enzymes. I watched a series on WLS and the Drs on that show couldn't tell until they were inside.
