honey

i am 4 weeks post op and starting to eat soild food , i found a recipes that calls for honey . i know sugar is off limits but will honey have the same effect

Even though honey is natural sugar it might be too sweet. Have you tried light Agave nectar? It is yummy and it's low on the glycemic index so it won't cause the blood sugar levels to fluctuate.

Honey was on my don't use list.
