How long did it take for them to approve you? I've been waiting for 11 days I've heard people getting approved a lot sooner. I called today and they said it was still being looked over.

I'm curious with this too. I have UHC too and am hoping I don't have to wait that long. I'm not very patient. I still have one more month of my 6 month waiting period.

About a week for me. My doctors office had a lady that handled all the insurance stuff and she didn't mind calling them about it.

It took 7 days for me. My Dr. office originally stated they didn't receive a yes/no approval from UHC, so I called. I was approved and also had a chance to get full details of my coverage (i.e. hospital room type, coverage limitations, hospital copay).

My uhc case manager did state that she was out of the office when my paperwork came threw maybe that's the set back? Idk I'm not very patient either think I'm going to call tomorrow again and speak with my case manager. I hate the waiting game especially after doing all these different things in order to get it submitted. Ugh..

I'm waiting on UHC approval still too..the nurse called today to do last minute briefing for hospital admittance but said she didn't know if I've been approved yet. I wanted to say then why did u call..lol????

Lol I know what u mean.. When my case manager called me I thought she was calling to let me know I was good to go.. ???????? I don't have patience.
