stock/broth

I am thinking to start my pantry for after my surgery or well, even before my surgery (during the liquids only). I am wondering if I can do my broth or does it have to be store bought? Also, what is the big difference in broth and stock? I was told stock wasn't alright but broth was...can someone explain this to me?

Stock has more seasoning and other additives, broth has less.

You can make your own if you want, that is probably better for you.

I still use broth over a month out and will probably continue for for a long time, at least through winter. I don't like Soup and it makes a great lunch or afternoon snack. I add unflavored Protein powder to it. Lamb broth is my favorite.

I didn't like either....I went the creamed soup path post and skipped them for clear.
