I don't feel scared... But....

So my surgery date is September 14th and I did have alot of anxiety at first about having surgery but now I'm approved I feel sort of calm about it but I do suffer from horrible anxiety and even though my mind doesn't feel anxious my body is sure showing me signs I am. Shaky hands. Shortness of breath diarrhea (graffic sorry) I'm scared mentally I'm blocking it and the day before surgrey I'm gonna break! Anyone else feel this way?

I'm sorry your body is showing signs of anxiety. I suffer from anxiety and wrestled with it off and on before surgery. I hope you can talk to your surgeon. Come here to these forums and ask any questions you may have; people here want to help. Read posts by other people. Keep educating yourself. Above all...deep breath in, slowly let it out. Repeat. I hope you feel better soon!
